Hi, I would like to join specifically to be the opposition force to PBI which I would also like to join if I can get the kit sorted. I am based in the North West and the Matlock site is the closest to me despite being a long drive. All other ww2 games are too far away in any direction.

Is there a relationship with the PBI that could be nurtured here as sufficient numbers always help. I am hoping the urban site near Manchester could be user for WW2 games as it is closer to me but I don't know if that suite the PBI glider borne scenario. That is assuming PBI is relevant. If not, what games are being planned?

Hello and welcome. As I live in Bournemouth, I know all about living far away from these events! CiA as a group have only existed a year, and recently we have started to form these subsections - PBI, Doughboys, Landser, SS, etc, so folks can feel part of a group and concentrate on perfecting their kit, etc. So generally, most folks know each other from past events, and you can be part of as many sections as you like - I'm in Landser and PBI!

Check out the WW2 airsoft calendar thread on General WW2 Airsoft Discussion section for future games. Most tend to be in the Midlands, but we are open to ideas for any good sites.

Hi,
I'm trying to get a team together in my area, we are going to try to do the 228th regiment, 101st Jager division, 1943, a unit you may be familiar with Sgt Steiner. I am based in Ireland and hopefully have about 4 or 5 guys willing to join up, hopefully. The next few months will tell how its going. Can I sign up for the Landsers?

I already do, Carl - self-loathing is a speciality of mine!

Anyway, I'm going for a rebranding - I'm keeping my summer (canvas) M36 as GD, minus the EKI. My woolen M40 will now be regular Heer, and I'm building an officer's GD uniform with my newly (almost) acquired splinter tunic. Just deciding how much bling to go for - maybe a Ritterkreuz at my age! Also considering a crusher cap. Hmm.... think I'll go for a Hauptmann - that outranks you, doesn't it, Carl?!

Hmm.... daft question: would an officer carry the same sort of gear as an EM? i.e. breadbag, gasmask tin, mess tins, flask, e-tool, etc?
